The Indonesian Community in Auckland participated in Blue Light Waka Ama Regatta as follows:

The Blue Light Waka Ama Regatta event was organized by Blue Light , a police initiative design to
- Reduce the incidence of young people becoming an offender or victim of crime
- Encourage better relations between the police , young people, their parents and the community
